Let's forget for a minute that public funding of a public school espousing Christianity, Judaism or even Western Civilization would be immediately attacked as being unconstitutional.  An Arab/Islamo school was just the natural progression of the Michael Bloomberg Government's earlier policy of establishing at taxpayer expense, Moslem (or is it Muslim, or Muuuslim)  "Prayer Rooms" in public schools.

Crazy and feckless you say?  A hidden agenda you may ask?  Ya think so?  Maybe this is why so many people (including numerous New Yorkers) feel that New York and so many other bastions of profit at the cost of heritage, deserve whatever they get.

Are "progressives" like Michael Bloomberg mentally ill or merely self-destructive in their attempt to appear virtuous?  Well, maybe they're a mixture of both.  It wouldn't really matter if their actions just affected themselves,  but it rarely does.  But  "progressive Mike" and equally mentally ill Schools Chancellor Joel Klein, simply tossed away the US Constitution and opted for pandering to Islamist radicals.

To their surprise, the normally politically correct crowd of the targeted and wealthy liberal-left neighborhood that was to house the Madrassa was up in arms.  And while they hid behind terms such as "avoiding school crowding," and other PC niceties, it was clear that they didn't want their little dumplings dragged into the bathrooms of this dual purpose educational conglomerate by the older radical Moslem students and given the choice of converting to Islam or getting the beating of their lives.

But progressives know what's right for all of us.  Making a hasty retreat from this politically influential liberal district, herr Bloomberg and Klein concluded that the "simple taxpayers" of New York would be forced to pay for an Islamic Madrassa, whether they like it or not.

Continuing to set aside the First Amendment to our Constitution and its ban on government propagating one faith, the "one world" approach towards destroying American values in the young was revealed as their theology.  Taking a page from the Italian Communist Antonio Gramsci, they believed and apparently still do, that the revolution to destroy "antiquated" Western values is best served by undermining its institutions. As such, a new venue was chosen for the Khalil Gibran International Academy.

In May of 2007, the Department of Education announced that the Khalil Gibran International Academy would now be housed at the Brooklyn High School for the Arts, whose building on 345 Dean Street in Boerum Hill also includes the Math and Science Exploratory School.  Maybe the Science curriculum will be expanded to include bomb making.  And by the way... this location is just a hop, skip and jump away from the al Farooq Mosque on Atlantic Avenue Brooklyn.

Does the name of this Mosque ring a bell?  It should because it was here that the terrorists who attacked the World Trade center in 1993 and 2001 met, worked out the details and found refuge.

What a wonderfully convenient area to place the Khalil Gibran Madrassa!  Now there are two almost adjoining locations to plan the destruction of Constitutional government and making ready for Jihad.  Mr. Bloomberg and Klein were really thoughtful.  Every Jihadist wannabe should flock to vote for Mr. Bloomberg if he runs for Governor or President.

Then, in August 2007, the truth hit the fan and exploded, when it came out that the new school's principal, a Moslem activist named Debbie Almontasser had close ties to an organization hawking a T-shirt glorifying Moslem terror. The T-shirt was boldly emblazoned with the slogan "Intifada NYC," glorifying a word that has come to mean violent uprising.  It is the war cry of Hamas, an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood, whose goal is to subjugate the world under an Islamic theocratic tyranny.  Was it a cry for a Gaza style uprising in the Big Apple.  Ya think?

The organization selling the shirts, Arab Women Active in Art and Media, shares office space on Brooklyn's Third Avenue with the Saba Association of American Yemenis.

Dhabah "Debbie" Almontaser, principal of the Khalil Gibran International Academy which was scheduled to open in Brooklyn within the following month, was a board member and spokeswoman for Saba.  It was becoming glaringly clear that the intent was to have an Arabic speaking public school that would spread Arab culture, Islam and Jihad.  It was to be a Madrassa.

It should be noted that Ms. Almontaser had absolutely no experience as a principal. On the other hand, she is a radical Moslem, which seems to have been sufficient credentials for socially progressive one-world Mayor Bloomberg.

At first, Ms. Almontaser denied the existence of the T-shirts. When confronted with proof, the liar downplayed it's significance, stating that the word "Intifada" meant "shaking off." In fact, it's Arabic for what has come to mean "struggle" or "uprising," much like the German word "Kampf" in Adolf Hitler's book "Mein Kampf."

Ms. Almontaser went on to say, "I think it's pretty much an opportunity for girls to express that they are part of New York City society . . . and shaking off oppression."

Oppression from whom?  The Infidels?

AWAAM's co-founders, Rama Kased and Mona Eldahry, are also active in the more militant pro-Palestinian group, al-Awda, whose main U.S. office is in California. That organization is an active supporter of the terrorist groups Hezbollah and Hamas.

"Intifada" is a war. Isn't that what Arafat had?" said Pamela Hall, a Manhattan mom opposed to the academy on the grounds that it violated separation of church and state. A Department of Education spokeswoman defended Almontaser, saying her link to the T-shirt was tenuous. On the other hand, the progressive left has always denied that Islamists were hostile to western values... just George Bush.

Blah, Blah, Blah and under increasing pressure, the Bloomberg Administration felt compelled to dump Debbie.  She would continue without a formal job at full Principal's salary which is quite hefty and a phenomenal future pension.  Sitting around doing nothing but living off the taxpayer, our Debbie would become more and more vocal about being picked on because she was a Moslem.  Sound familiar?  There's nothing more tiresome than a whiney Jihadist.

But the fact remains that the Islamic public school lives on and will undoubtedly morph into a true anti-Christian, anti-Semitic, anti-Constitution and anti-Western edifice to the tenure of Michael Bloomberg, Mayor of New York City.
